Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Therapist
I bring to you over 17 years of experience working with adolescents, teens, and adults in all stages of life. I received my Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina Greensboro and my Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina. I am licensed in the State of North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
I believe that therapy is for everyone and not just for individuals who are experiencing a crisis. Life can be challenging. We all can benefit from having a safe place to work through our thoughts/feelings/emotions and be our authentic selves.
I will partner with you to provide a safe space to be “authentically you”. Therapy is about being honest with yourself about things that you may not want to face. I specialize in working with individuals who live with depression, anxiety, suicidal and self-harming thoughts.
Therapy is not a one size fits all. Because we are all different, I embrace a holistic approach and utilize various theories including, but not limited to Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
